Emerging as the newest daughter
The busy life begins.

In the first days
Tidy and clean are your jobs
Important to colony health
No job is less important than another in your community.

Only a week has passed in your life
You now receive nectar and pollen
From the sojourners to store for winter
The sustenance for your sisters and mother.

At three weeks of age, you travel abroad
Bringing the raw materials
Allowing the hive to grow in size and health.

The remainder of your life is to excel in your role
Constantly traveling to and fro
The work of your life may yield half a teaspoon of golden goodness
Before you pass to the next generation.
